So much better than shooting videos with DSLRs or mobile phones I’m extremely pleased with this camcorder. It’s far easier to use than taking video on my Canon digital SLRs, especially as you can use it single-handed and never have to worry about changing lenses. The zoom range is far greater than any commercially available DSLR lens, and the battery is easily capable of recording more than 3 hours of video, which neither my DSLR or phone can do.I’ve stuck a UHS-1 128GB SDXC memory card in mine, and it works fine. How to ruin Christmas. Buy one of these. Very nice picture, but NO SOUND. Having spent 2 hours installing all the downloads that are necessary to get the footage to actually play, all the films we have shot tonight have all come out silent. Will be using the SLR hand camera to record the children opening their presents tomorrow morning, and will be wrapping this one up to go back to Amazon first thing Boxing Day.
